I am a teacher and practitioner of philosophical theory. I created Life Simpliφed as a space to think deeply about living simply. My desire in Life Simpliφed is to take a philosophical approach to the practical nitty-gritty of life. Here, I document my personal journey of simplicity while reflecting on various traditions, theories, and cultural moments of simplicity.
I am a wife and mother with a BA in Economics, an MSc in Philosophy and Public Policy, working toward my PhD in Philosophy. And I am an Orthodox Christian. My thinking is informed by the unity of these personal, professional, and academic experiences.
I hope something you find here will connect to your own experience and inspire you to think deeply and live simply. I am honored to have your attention, so I promise not to waste it!

PS: You might be wondering about the spelling of "Simpliφed." The Greek letter Φ (pronounced "phi") is often used among academic philosophers as the symbol for Philosophy. A philosophical approach is central to my thinking about simplicity.
